Trying to compile this list of favorites was probably one the hardest things I've ever done haha just kidding, but it was difficult for such an indecisive person. I have grown to love so many products this year, and experimented with even more. To keep it as simple as possible, I narrowed my list to 13-- one for each month and one to grow on (you should be proud of me). So, without further adieu, I present my favorite beauty products of 2014 (in no particular order of course).
1. Khroma Nail Polish- Fairy Dust
Now, I'm not one to endorse the Kardashian Klan, and I will never watch their show for as long as I live, but they may have done something right here with this nail polish. Any polish fanatic knows how glitter polishes can be hit or miss. Either they have virtually no pigment, or the glitter is obnoxiously thick. Well, this polish has a thin formula and has great glitter coverage with just one layer! Cowabunga!
2. MAC Brave Lipstick + L'Oreal Liner Au Naturale
Speaking of the Kardashians-- ay yi yi.. Miss Kylie Jenner has become a fashion icon here in 2014 with her edgy 90' style and plump lips. One of my favorite ways to achieve her infamous lip color is to pair L'Oreal's Colour Riche Lip Liner in Au Naturale with MAC's Brave Lipstick. It's a win win!
These very closely resemble MAC's 33 lashes, and if you know me, you know they are one of my favorites. They look natural and effortless. The only problem is the pricetag. At $17 a pop, I hardly wore my MAC lashes because I didn't want to ruin them. When I found Koko Lashes , it was love at first site. Coming in at only $3.25, the similarity in design is almost uncanny, the quality is comparable, and the price is unbeatable! You can get about 5 Kokos for 1 pair of MAC! Wow!
4. Duo Lash Glue- Brush On Adhesive with Vitamins
Other than the price tag of lashes, I hardly wore them for 3 reasons: 1. Time 2. Difficulty 3. Eye Irritation. I've always used Duo glue because it's known as being the best. Sometimes I would spend 15 minutes in front of the mirror trying to apply falsies and it just resulted in a mess... Yes, I was that girl that had white glue all over her flawless smokey eye. Over time, I began to get the hang of it, and it became a little easier, but the glue still irritated my eyes. I would constantly have to put eyedrops in my eyes to ease the burning sensation. One day I picked up this Duo glue with the brush on adhesive, and in that moment my life changed forever!!!!!! It must be a different formula than the other Duo glues because: 1. Its so much faster to apply-- no more waiting & blowing for 30 seconds, plus there's no mess! 2. It is SO much easier to apply- The adhesive is out of this world good-- they latch right onto the lid like a magnet, and 3. This doesn't irritate my eyes. It is so lightweight that I don't even notice when I wear falsies anymore. I never thought a glue would make such a difference in how lashes actually feel on my eyes, but they do! Major. Major. Difference.
5. Becca Highlight in Moonstone
Any HAC fiend knows a good highlighter is key to making those cheek bones pop, and this one delivers! It is such an extremely beautiful highlight and works on every skin tone. The highlighter is very pigmented and looks flawless when the light reflects. It is the perfect highlight for day or night, casual or fancy. A+
6. NYX Shine Killer
I have combo/oily skin so I am always looking for ways to prevent my skin from becoming oily throughout the day. I love the thick formula of this primer, as it adds a shield to prevent oil from coming to the surface. I'm not sure how well it would work for those with super oily skin, but it has become a staple in my routine, and always helps keep my foundation lookin fresh.
7. MAC Tan Pigment
I consider this one of my favorite MAC products, if not my sole favorite. With a rose gold undertone, this pigment never fails to deliver. Paired with copper and brick toned eyeshadows, this look cannot go wrong. A great investment for any makeup junkie!
8. Makeup Geek Shadows
I couldn't leave 2014 without giving a shout out to Makeup Geek Eyeshadows because they have become my world! At only $5 a pan, these shadows are so pigmented and of high quality. It's easy to fill up a Z-Palette in no time! If you want a single color without wanting to buy a whole palette, Makeup Geek is an absolute go to. I swear by these babies!
9. Maybelline FitME Concealer
Maybelline by far has the best concealers in the drugstore world, and it was tough for me to choose between this one and the Dark Circle Eraser. However, the FitME has a slightly thinner formula, which results in medium-full coverage and a flawless finish. Way to go Maybelline!
10. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner
If you follow my blog, you are probably tired of hearing about this liquid liner, but what can I say? It's my total fav! The blackest black, long lasting formula you will ever come by. And, with an extremely narrow point, this liner cannot fail at creating the perfect wing.
11. Tarte Amazonian Clay Brow Mousse- Taupe
This is one product that doesn't get enough recognition. In most of my tutorials I skip over my brows so you won't find me talking about them very often. I was afraid to try Anastasia's Pomade because it looks so intense and that's just not the look I am going for. I like my brows to look natural, yet defined. I stumbled across Tarte's Brow Mousse and it is amazeballs! I couldn't have "eyebrows on fleek" without this product (lol sorry I had to say that). But really, the formula truly resembles a mousse and goes on so smooth and easily.
12. Sigma F86
By now you are probably used to me and the universe talking about Sigma brushes, but you can't deny how outstanding they perform. And, if you know me, you know I'm all about simplicity and versatility. This brush is designed for the application of foundation and concealer. The pointed, tapered shape allows you to get into those hard to reach places under the eye. Now, the reason I love this is because of the flawless outcome, AND it can be used for liquid or powder. 2 in 1 Bam!

And, Last, but Not Least...
12. Revlon "Oh Baby Pink" Blush
It's surprising a good blush is hard to come by without emptying your wallet. Revlon's "Oh Baby Pink" Blush has become one of my go-to's. It contains the perfect amount of pigmentation, has zero fall out, and is not chalky like many drug store blushes can be. The pink shade is perfect for every day casual, or for a night out... I even used it on a few of my brides this year!

That nail polish is the best thing I've seen in my entire life <3
