NYX Love In Paris "Merci Beaucoup" | Four Looks

One of my biggest pet peeves in the blogger/youtube beauty community is when one eye tutorial is composed of 634824873 different eyeshadows all from different palettes and brands, agreed? Because, let's be honest, we don't have the money to buy a whole new palette for ONE single eyeshadow right? The struggle is so incredibly real. As a result, I would like to start a new series to my blog : One Palette, Four Looks.. making the bang worth your buck! The one I chose to start with is the Love in Paris/ Merci Beaucoup palette from NYX. This baby is $10, available at Ulta, CVS, and probably more drugstores my town doesn't have hahaha.

Anyway, here we go..

Look 1 & 2- Day to Night

For Day:
1. Apply light brown on crease

2. Add the gold shade to the lid (wet)
3. With same brush, stroke the shimmery vanilla shade down the center of the lid.
4. Highlight brow bone & inner corner with cream color
----
For Night Transition:
5. With crease brush apply dark brown to outer corner of eye
*Tip: Add liner in the water line & smoke out lash line for a more dramatic look

* Liner: MAC Prolongwear Definedly Black
* Lip Pair:
Day: Peach Tones or Pure Red for a more "vampy look".
On me: L'Oreal Tropical Coral 444    Also love: Revlon Fire & Ice 720 (red)
Night: Dark Wine. On me: Revlon Raisin Rage 630

 Look 3- Naturally Glam

Pssst.. this one is my everyday go to look. It is so much prettier in person than the photos reflect. I especially love the eyeliner (my new obsession).

1. Very softly apply light brown to the crease
2. With a wet brush add the shimmery vanilla to the lid
3. Using the same brush, pick up some of the peach/coral shade & dab overtop the vanilla to create a light pink effect
4. Apply the burgundy shade to the outer corner
*Tip: Use circular motions, working outside in until blended. Sigma E25 is a perfect brush for this
5. Highlight brow bone & inner corner with cream shade

* Liner: NYX Liner in Golden Olive << Awesomesauce liner
* Lip Pair: Anything Mauve or Neutral.
On me: L'Oreal Colour Riche Liner in Natural
Also love: Wet & Wild 902C (perfect nude!!!)

Look 4- Definitely Fall

Although we're on the home stretch for fall as we are quickly entering into winter, I can't help but go for this look when I went to feel a bit like autumn!

1. With Fix+ or applying wet, add the dark shimmer shade to the lid.
* Tip: To make this stand out more, add a brown shadow stick or cream shadow to lid first, such as Tarte Shadow stick in Taupe or Bronze
2. Apply the peach/coral shade to the crease as a transition
3. Blend the light brown into the crease also, working it in a bit lower than the shade above
4. On the lower lash line, apply a thin line of the dark brown
5. Smoke out with the light shimmery brown shade
6. Highlight brow bone & inner corner with cream color

*Liner: KatVonD Tattoo Liner- Trooper
* Lip Pair: Dark Red or Wine
On me: L'Oreal Spiced Cidar 755

On all these looks, I used Milani Shadow Stick in Almond Creme (for base), NARS Orgasm Blush because of its versatility, L'Oreal True Match in W6, NARS Laguna + Benefit Hoola on contour areas, NARS Creamy Concealer in Custard & MAC Prep & Prime in light boost for highlight areas. Eyebrows are Maybelline Brow Fix in Medium Brown & Tarte Brow Mousse in Taupe.

Well, I hope y'all loved these looks as much as I do. I highly recommend the Love in Paris palette-- it is so incredibly beautiful and pigmented, and definitely worth $10 !!!

Comment below & let me know which palette I should do next!
